This latest TimeSpaceAndDrums feature allows the creation of multiple types of Contests to run on your profile.

You can choose from:

• Photo Contests,
• Video Contests,
• Music Contests
• and Writing Contest.

Posting A Contest

Ability to limit the number of Entries Allowed (per person)

Optionally Allow Entrants to post their Contact details.

Optionally Allow Entrants to post their Location.

Manual or Automatic selection of Winners - A contest can be setup so that the winners are automatically selected at the end of the contest based on the total amount of votes that each entrant accumulates. Optionally, the contest host can choose to manually select winners at the end of the contest period.

Prizes

For each contest, it is possible to create multiple prizes.

You can indicate the prize position (First Place etc).

You can indicate the number of contestants that will be awarded a particular position (for example you can choose to have three runner-up winners etc.).

You can give away Points as Prize (this feature is coming soon).

Contest Criteria

It is possible to limit access to entry based on the following criteria :

-> Age Range 

-> Gender 

-> Country of residence 

Cutoff Entry Period - It is possible to set a period for which all entries must be submitted before actual voting starts. This is done to ensure fairness and equal exposure of all participants during the voting process.

Donations

When posting a Contest, the creator can decide whether or not participants can accept Donations from their fans. Donations can be particularly helpful depending on the kind of contests. For example, an Art Painting Contest for kids may require the use of expensive paints and it would be good if the followers/fans of the entrants are able to assist them in offsetting the cost of the required material.

Contest Sponsors

Many times a Contest host has received assistance from Businesses or Individuals in organizing a Contest or Providing the prizes that are offered. The Sponsor section allows the Contest host to acknowledge these Sponsors by listing them on the Contest page.

Reviews

It is possible for members to post reviews about how they feel regarding a particular Contest.

Contest Rules

It is possible to list the set of rules that governs entry into the Contest.

Promotion - Promotion tool allows the sending of Invitations to site members and external friends requesting them to check out the particular contest.

Encouragement - It is possible for fans and well wishers to post encouragements for contest entrants.
